Unlike other gathering skills, skinning gets used on enemies you kill, so you can level and gather at the same time, instead of having to sacrifice one for the other. And animals are much more plentiful metal armor game and easier to find than herbs or ore deposits. Skinning gets used much more frequently than any other skill. Your skill level will rocket up fast, and you'll need a trainer before you know it.
I prefer the raptor to the cat. 3. Ravager. Has ten per cent damage. Has good armor at five per cent. But it has bad health at seven per cent which is why I never use this. It can be very successful and damaging in close confrontations but I have found it to be annoying in other scenarios. 4. The Boar. This is my favourite high armor hunter pet. It has minimal ability to do any form of damage. But it has armor at ten per cent and rarely gets hurt. This means it will often show good results when hunting. Sometimes you'll want a certain unit to be somewhere important, but it may not get there in time for what you want to do. Different units also have different firing ranges. Some can shoot from a distance while others have to be directly next to the target. The infantry, mech, bike, recon, tanks, boats, anti-air and planes have to be next to a target while the battleship, missile, rocket, artillery and anti-tank can hit their target from a distance. The units that can shoot from a distance also have different firing ranges and attributes. For instance, the rocket can hit targets five squares away from it, but not the two squares in front of it.
